Job Description
Teach English skills to read a literary text comprehensively, compose a creative written piece, and speak cohesively.
Compose lesson plans in order to successfully incorporate the curriculum for the full duration of each lesson.
Execute lessons efficiently using different styles of teaching depending on the content and the students' needs.
Engage students to ensure a lively classroom atmosphere.
Instruct students about the structure and content of the English literature and creative writing.
Teach students the spelling of words, and their meanings.
Emphasise the rules of composition, grammar and sentence construction.
Teach students the correct pronunciation of words.
Teach students to think critically when studying literature and poetry.
Teach students to the techniques and application of writing different types of creative written pieces, including memoir, fiction, and poetry, and to engage with their writing emotionally and critically.
Job Requirements
Speaks and writes fluent Indonesian.
Speaks and writes fluent English.
Is passionate about and familiar with English literature, creative and academic writing.
Possesses a minimum 4,000-word creative writing portfolio.
Excels at critical literary analysis.
Is passionate about education and teaching especially for kids.
Can execute lessons with meaning, in a fun, and engaging manner.
Can work in tight schedules.
Can work on weekends and weekdays (with two days off, later-discussed).
Is ready for curriculum training (~1 month) without salary.
Is ready to commit for 1 year with part-time fees before promoted to a full-time job.
Candidates must go through a live job assessment.
